Responsibilities:

• Manage the promotion of Alpha in the churches:
  • By developing and running strategic initiatives to grow connection with church leaders and pastors, and grow interest in Alpha resources
  • By holding introductory and exploratory meetings on Alpha, according to our latest branding guidelines
    
• Train and equip churches and campuses to run great quality Alphas regularly:
  • Develop and update Alpha Training materials according to latest practices from Alpha
  • Groom, equip and deploy Alpha Trainers to provide updated trainings to Churches and Organisations
  • Help leaders & practitioners of strategic churches to increase their quality of Alpha
    
• Develop strategic partners who can be a model for Alpha, and be a resource centre for other Alpha Practitioners

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of ministry experience in a church/Christian organization (that involve leadership, discipleship or counselling)
• Excellent communication and listening skills, able to build rapport and trust with different types of people
• A heart to serve and equip churches to share the Gospel and a spiritual life centered on prayer
• Candidates with diploma or degree in Divinity or Theology would have an advantage

Alpha Singapore is looking for a Ministry Events & Administrator who will be responsible to provide event management and administration support to our Ministry Team in accordance with our mission and our value of hospitality in Alpha.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Project Lead to plan and manage event timeline, progress meetings and all event deliverables, while ensure spending is within budget and consolidate event financial report
• Maintain relationships and coordinate briefings with vendors, venues and volunteers of an event
• Manage queries and training requests from partners, deploy trainers and provide operational support during training
• Assist in managing the CRM database and in pulling quarterly impact reports for stakeholders
• Provide administrative support to the ministry team in organising meeting, writing minutes and management of Alpha resources

Other Skills:

• Interest in pursuing a career in Christian ministry or kingdom-related work
• A heart to serve and equip churches to share the Gospel
• A strong team player who is flexible and able to work around tight timelines
• Excellent organizational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset

Requirements:

• Diploma, Degree or equivalent professional qualifications in hospitality or events management
• At least two years of experience in events coordination
• Candidates with exposure to charities and non-profit organisations will have an advantage
